For over 20 years, Maryland Treatment Centers has proudly conducted research on substance use disorder in an effort to expand our knowledge of effective treatments for addictions and related problems. We are especially passionate about clinical trial research and making effective interventions accessible to those who need them most.

Research Projects

We maintain a robust research portfolio of independent projects and collaborative investigations with highly regarded academic institutions and research organizations.  Collaborators have included Johns Hopkins University, University of Maryland, National Institute on Drug Abuse Clinical Trials Network, University of Pennsylvania, Friends Research Institute, and others.
