Professional Development, Training, Education and Research

Mountain Manor Treatment Centers offers a wide variety of training and educational opportunities for professionals in the community as well as for the employees of Maryland Treatment Centers, Inc.

Mountain Manor facilities and programs provide training sites for pediatric residents, child psychiatry fellows, addiction psychiatry fellows, and social work and psychology interns from Johns Hopkins University, the University of Maryland, and Argosy University.

Continuing education credits are available through training series coordinated by the community relations department at Mountain Manor Treatment Center at Baltimore and Mountain Manor Treatment Center at Emmitsburg.

Maryland Treatment Centers, Inc. is involved in federal, state, county and foundation funded treatment enhancement, prevention, education and research projects on an ongoing basis. Mountain Manor’s adolescent residential program in Baltimore was designated as an “exemplary” program by the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT).
