Welcome to Maryland Treatment Centers

The Maryland Treatment Centers Inc. (MTC) behavioral health care family consists of dedicated professionals committed to ensuring that all patients receive the individualized treatment and caring support they need on their journeys to health and recovery.   

The MTC organization offers substance abuse, mental health and dual diagnosis education, prevention and treatment in discrete and highly specialized programs for adolescents, young adults and adults.

Throughout our thirty year history, the clinicians at MTC have pioneered many innovative programs for unique diverse populations including Women and Children,  Health Care Professionals,  Veterans, Trauma Victims, Young Adults, Adolescents and Dually Diagnosed individuals.

The recently established Opioid Treatment Program at Mountain Manor at Baltimore is a state of the art specialty program for adolescents and young adults where our clinicians actively engage these young people in ongoing treatment and give them access to the community based systems they need in order to get well and stay well.  

Our Patients

Our patient populations are residents from communities in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware and the District of Columbia.  A significant number of patients  who require substance abuse treatment also have mental health issues, therefore, our Health Quest clinics provide mental health therapy at both residential sites.

A testament to our success is the fact that 20% of our referrals come from satisfied family members of patients formerly treated.

Our philosophy of care in treating over twenty-five thousand patients over the years, considers treats each patient from a clinical perspective that includes family, friends, work/school/vocational functioning, medical, mental health and substance abuse issues and the community where the patient resides.  

Positive treatment approaches that emphasize strengths are utilized and community based support systems are identified for each patient so that all of those gains made in treatment can be ongoing after discharge from the MTC programs.  Throughout the Mountain Manor behavioral health care programs,  our patients and families always come first!
